A polypropylene dunnage air bag consists of a PP woven outer layer and an airtight PE inner bladder. The woven surface is unaffected by moisture and water and withstands sharp corners and abrasion better than kraft paper, which makes it the preferred choice in humid conditions, on long sea voyages and for cargo held in the cold chain. In container, truck and lorry loading it fills the gaps between pallets and in front of the doors, preventing cargo from shifting and toppling. Thanks to its robust construction it can be deflated and reused as long as it is undamaged.
